Why not just have a top coat done? There's a difference between the two.

Near the house in Massachusetts I noticed a drive that appears to have a top coat but I think it is more likely a slurry that was put on. Looks really great and does not look like a sealer. I am going to try to find out what this is as our drive could use upgrading.
