Reputable driveway sealing?

Why not just have a top coat done? There's a difference between the two.

Top coat is much more expensive then sealing and could be an issue with a top coat for thresholds into doorways, garage entries, pitching for water ect.

I get it, but if they have the ability to do it it's a much better alternative to seal coating.

As Joey said, my asphault butts against garage concrete, deck stairway etc.
A top coat would be nice but I think they would have to cut some asphault out to re-do all those edges, thus adding labor costs to an already more costly project.

Near the house in Massachusetts I noticed a drive that appears to have a top coat but I think it is more likely a slurry that was put on. Looks really great and does not look like a sealer. I am going to try to find out what this is as our drive could use upgrading.
