I'd shy away from using a current player's name... say you call him "Manny", then in 2009 when Manny is a Yankee (after the Sox don't exercise his option years), you will be forced to kill your own dog. That would be very sad for you and the kids, although not as sad as having a dog named after a Yankee.

Try "Yaz" or "Teddy" or some such if you want a player's name!

According to here the Chin is an intelligent and loyal dog and soon finds a way to rule the house. Well with 3 larger dogs around that may not be too successful, but Chins will surround themselves with the ones that love them.

I think because the pup will rule the house and owners (didn't know that did ya?) and because of the status of Winni property (King being used too often) Baron is a good strong name.

It kind of looks like the only time you will be yelling across the neighborhood for him will be non-snowfall times both for his color and, anything over a dusting and you might lose him
