State law prohibits having more than one valid license at a time. If you move from another state and have a valid license from there, it must be surrendered when your NH license is issued.
Renewing your NH license is a bit different, since your old one and your new one are one and the same, but with different expiration dates. Some people like to keep their old ones for ID because they like the picture better. ![]() |
