Considering the range of a bear, it would not be a stretch to make that assumption.
We camped up in the Adirondack's when we lived in Upstate NY, and bear visits were a nightly occasion around the dumpsters. With Minge Cove Marina only being maybe 3/8's of a mile from WAM, not far for our furry friend to walk, especially for a good meal from a full dumpster. ![]()
