I believe it is a good time to move up because the cost of money, the mortgage interest rate, is unusually low.
We are considering selling our place on the lake ![]() ![]() We had our place in Mass. on the market 16 months ago, but took it off after 6 months due to the very slow market back then. I believe the New England housing market is near the bottom and starting to get more active. I do not think the prices are going to move upward very soon though. When you are both selling and buying, what you lose on one end of the transaction, you gain on the other. You have to sell before you buy to make the most of the opportunity. The interest rate becomes most important and there are great rates out there right now. R2B |
