Default Nazi Treefort

Has anyone been on or driven by Glines island near Braun Bay and seen the camouflage treefort?

Ive heard about tons of old pictures and posters portraying Hitler and the swastika inside the tree fort.. creepy

Default Glines Island

Our camp is on Braun Bay, on the other side at the base of Long Point. We grew up boating and even swimming over to Glines Island and using the rope on the tree there. This was in the late 50's and 60's. Replaced the rope many times over the years, but i dont think it is there anymore. Always was a little tree house there. We slept over occasionally with a camp fire.

But later - and I dont know how to date it - the treehouse was "improved"; festined with Nazi emblems; and there was a creepy guy who wore camo and carried a knife on his belt living there. We stayed away for many years and I dont know what the situation is now.

Never knew who owed Glines Island. Interesting.
