The construction on the other side of the Hathaway House (pink building) is a new Dunkin Dougnuts to replace the one on the other side of the road.

Talking Early Season

I believe I read in the Lacona Daily Sun that they were putting up a brand new building with Orange Julius and a drive through! The reason why they closed before Labor Day is so they could start construction and hopefully be open at the end of February!

Great news IMO!!!

i think they should keep the dairy queen and not go for the orange julius. OJ looks very bland. i have never heard of it and it looks to wierd for me. not a lot of people from the area wouldnt go there. i sure wouldnt. nothing can beat a large reeses peanut butter cup blizzard on a 85 degree summer day.

bring on the new dairy queen. cant wait.

I'm glad you enjoy the great products from Dairy Queen. Those of you who don't know, Orange Julius "OJ" has been around since the late 1920's and is part of the Dairy Queen family. Alot customers who have had "OJ" know its a great product. Those of you who haven't had "OJ" will be in for another great treat from the Dairy Queen System. "OJ" is known in alot of the bigger malls and is now being offered to its franchisees at the street level. The core staple of this product is premium fruit smoothies and quality hot dogs.
