Default Wheels turned while waiting

The primary reason you don't turn your wheels while waiting at an intersection is so if you get rear-ended your vehicle doesn't get pushed into the opposite lane (oncoming traffic). This happened to a person on 101 in Bedford a few years ago. He got slammed form behind and pushed into the on coming traffic because his wheels were turned. Unfortunately, he died.
