Light Up Night

— Saturday, Dec. 5, is the annual celebration
of turning on the holiday lights in Alton
in the downtown area. Light Up Night free events

Alton Town Hall
(5-6:15 p.m.)
visit with Santa
- all ages welcome; children’s craft social sponsored
by Little Pesaukees Playgroup; caroling
and refreshments sponsored by Alton Bay
Christian Conference Center;

Holiday hayride
(5 -6:15 p.m.)
sponsored by
Alton Home and Lumber Center leaving from
Alton Town Hall;

Alton Historical Society Museum open

(5-6:15 p.m.)
displays, raffle, door
prizes, refreshments and more. Enter at the
rear of the Gilman Library;
Caroling (6-6:30 p.m.) sing along caroling
with Santa and community members at Ginny
Douglas Park.

Tree lighting;
6:30 p.m.
at Ginny Douglas
Park.
Caroling music led by Santa will begin
at 6:15 p.m. at the Town Hall with a stroll over
to Ginny Douglas Park,where the tree lighting will
take place at 6:30 p.m.
