Saw this winter's first snomo yesterday, a single sled going slow between Mark & Bear Isl. The ice looks almost snowless, good for ice skating or ice boating.
Four Army green Huey or Blackhawk helicopters, flying in a staggered line, flew over Mark Isl at about 4-pm, so the conditions must be good for helicopters, too! ![]()
