Default Gilford Beach Pass

Does Gilford sell beach passes to non-residents? We live on the boat at Fay's and my 1 and 5 year-olds love the beach. The guard at the gate is far less than friendly and just keeps yelling "residents only" when I tried to take the boys last year!

Default Big fat NO!

However, Merrill 'Spider' Fay can get guest passes to the beach. And allow the 'tenants' to use tham on a 'first come, first served' basis.

You don't have to be resident, just a property owner.

Those guest passes now cost $5 and Merrill must be with you. Unless a marina is a hotel, then they just cost $5 and Merrill can stay home.

Default Not all property owners can use the Gilford beach

However................You can't use the beach if you are a property owner and taxpayer, if that property happens to be a slip at Mountain View Yacht Club.

Gilford says "thanks for the money, have a nice day, and please register your boat at town hall too so we can get some more of your money"

Are you saying that you tried to get a car sticker and were refused? That's not how the law reads.

If you have a "deeded" slip, you should be able to use the beach unless I misread something...
