You can't say anything bad about this restaurant. From the quaint location, to the historic building right down to the excellent food and service. This is one of my favorites, too.

The Corner House is my favorite too. They have amazing stuffed mushrooms and all of their Oscars (chicken, veal, steak) are to die for.
Very quaint, cool place. If you go, check out the upstairs bar area. And they have Sunday brunches that are also very good and extremely well-priced.

Off season they have a group dinner menu with a story teller afterwards. I think it is on Thursday evenings. They have stopped now as they are too busy this time of year to use a dining room for the story teller evening but do look into it later in the year. Some play instruments etc. Went once earlier this year and it was a fun evening.

head east on rte 25 out of meredith ... hang a left at the old general store(rte. 109) about 5 miles down the road. we go a least once a summer and has never disaapointed us. especially fun when they lose electricity and you eat by candlelight.
