facebook loading

Is there anyway to stop the facebook section on the far right side from loading?

It seems to take a fairly longtime to load fairly often and I don't use it. Thanks.

Sorry but no, the facebook feed is part of the homepage design.

You don't have to wait for it. Just click on any link and move on.

If you bookmark the "forum" page instead of the "home" page I think that would help...
