Yes, there is a club in Belmont that has it's own, well equipped field! I don't know the official name or contacts, but I'll send you some more info via pvt message.

Hi. Thanks all for the info. i have found the Belmont club at the fairgrounds. I have been flying rc for several years now and am an AMA member.

We have recently sold our boat due to a string of bad luck. It is nice to know that when we vacation at the lake i can load a couple small planes and go for a flight or two.

It is going to have 2 Saito .56's. I have also installed retractable landing gear along with position and landing lights. I plan to fiberglass the wing and fuselage and paint it as a c-47 from ww2. Probly Charcol Grey on 2/3 of fuselage and top of wing and Sky grey on bottom with invasion stripes and stars and bars.

Twin four-stroke are going to sound great on that plane, nice choice. Sounds like it will be real nice when completed and airborne.

The Winnipesaukee Radio Controllers is an AMA registered club. We are located at the 4H field in Belmont, NH off of RT 106. They are there on many days flying. They fly from May to October. On Friday mornings they fly at the community center indoors year round . Come with a small electric powered plane, such as an Air Hogs plane. For more information Email the club.

620 some views. Obviously more people than you thought are interested in the subject. I had done some RC flying way back. Great Planes models. I never got that good, but always had fun watching the guys that could really fly well.
I'd be interested n RC helicopter flying now though as this hobby has really taken off. Ummm....yeah....Taken off. DOH! I mean the technology of those little helicopters as gained incredibly in the last few years. Might be fun to look into again. Thanks for this thread.

Oh and I drove by some of the guys with the sailboats at the airport on Saturday morning, around 10 am or so, in my little Red Shelby Cobra.

thanks for the replies! I do know where the 4-h grounds are in Belmont. i will be contacting the club to see about visitors and flying. we will be in town (Merideth area) the last week of july.
