Default Mammoth Meredith traffic jamb

A large sink hole, created in part by an underground leaking water pipe, in the west bound lane of Route 25, directly across from the Inn at Meredith Bay and in front of the Charter Trust building, and about three car lengths from the big Meredith intersection of Route 3 and 25, has created a monumental traffic jamb. Traffic is basically a no-go or a slow-go, and is totally backed up and stopped on the main roads as well as the secondary roads, like Main St, Meredith in a mammoth traffic mess.

If you got stuck in this one, you no doubt were not at all pleased! Oh well...too bad...whatcha gonna do but be thankfull the ac still works......yikes!

Default Traffic Jam

I understand this dig had to be completed but there was enough room for two lanes of traffic to pass at the same time. Yes it would have been tight but it would work. No reason to make everyone suffer when things could have been handeled differently. Oh well just my 2 cents!

Got stuck in that today, had to change course and divert, glad I chose to avoid Meredith all together.

I didn't see this on WMUR last night. I only got to see a bit of the news though. Was there anything about it on the tube.

Default Is The Traffic Still A Problem?

In Wolfeboro going to see family in Meredith tomorrow. Was going to goto 25 but I haven't been through Alton, Gilford, and Laconia so I could go that way.

Does anyone know which way is longer? It looks about the same on a map. No rush either way. If there's traffic still I'll just go south instead of north.

Default Repair Completed!

No more traffic. Repairs are complete. Back to normal!! The Town probably reads this forum as today they did squeeze two lanes instead of one. Was much smoother today.

They are both about the same within a few minutes. It all depends on which side of Meredith you are going to and which side of Wolfeboro you are starting from. Go one way and return the other.
