Default Good Kid's Playgrounds in the Lakes region?

Wondering if anyone could provide the location of some good kid's playgrounds around the lake? Looking for one that is pretty large with some good climbing structures. Preferably in the Alton, Laconia, Gilford area if possible? Thanks in advance!

Imagination Station (the playground at Gilford Elementary School) is great. So is Jack's Place at the Meredith Community Center.

Default Playgrounds in Alton...

The playground at Alton Central School is pretty good. There's another one at Jones Field (aka Little Fenway) on Letter S Road.

Yup, Imagination Station! Can't go wrong! Pack a lunch and a book, and spend a few hours!

Default Imagination Station...

from the "days of yore"!! When my grandsons were young (two who lived there and two who'd come to visit) that place was such a lifesaver! It was pretty new back then and my guys originally called it "The wooden park", which stuck in our house. They could run and climb and have a ball for a nice long time. I'd imagine, by now, there are a whole host of improvements to it...but what a great place! We would then have to cap it off with a trip to Sawyer's for ice cream...happy memories!
