Heading up for the weekend and haven't been up with out the kids in forever! Thinking about a drive around the lake... Need some suggestions for adult points of interest. Thanks!

Crazy Gringo's at the Weirs (super nice people and great drinks).
Patricks in Gilford (good food and sometimes has live entertainment). Walking up and down Main Street in Wolfeboro. Abenaki Tower in Tuftonboro (great, short hike with amazing views). Olde Country Store in Moultonboro. Canoe in Centre Harbor (good food, nice atmosphere). Mills Falls Marketplace in Meredith. If it's warm enough, eat dinner at Lago and sit outside. Ben & Jerry's is across the street too, just in case you want dessert. Just give it a day or two and you'll receive dozens of ideas. You could always take a cruise on the Mount too. Been going up to the lake for almost 40 years and did it for the first time three years ago for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding. Food is just okay but it was a different way to see the lake and the company and entertainment were great! Be sure to post when you get back and let us know what you did.

Saturday is the old car and boat show in Wolfeboro. Weather depending, I plan to be there with my Shelby Cobra. Maroon...Get there early.

Left Weirs Beach about 10:30 Saturday am and drove completely around the lake. Stopped at the boat and car show in Wolfboro, the Country store in Moultonboro and Hart's turkey just to name a few. And of course stopped as often as possible just to enjoy the beautiful views!

The one that keeps coming to your restaurant....
![]() I have a Maroon one. Has dual roll bars. It is actually a 1965 Claret red. I call it maroon... Very Loud. I am always in Moultonborough with it. |

Lakesrider, glad to hear you drive your Shelby regularly.
It makes little sense to buy a car like that and not use it for its intended purpose, i.e. drive it. Garage Queens: bah. |
