Weir Beach Lobster Pound - PIZZA
To be upfront, I frequent the Lobster Pound quite a bit and I have never had a problem with the food or service. In order not to pile on on of the older negative threads, I started this one.
This past wednesday, I went there with my girl as she saw that they were running an ad for Pizza.... Buy one Get one free! WOOHOO! Being the pizza aficianado I am, I just had to go and try it! Basically, you get a 12" thin crust cheese pizza for $8.99 and then you add toppings for a $1 (Proscuitto, Bacon Pepperoni etc) or $.75 (Onions, Peppers, Spinach etc).... and you get the next Pizza (or the cheaper of the two) FREE! In a word... AWESOME! The Pizza had a super thin crispy crust. Very similar to the Papa Gino's "Rustic" Pizza. The toppings were fresh and generous. Me & my girl woofed down the first pizza, and quickly ordered a second! The best part was the bill... for 2 pizzas & a few beers.... $24!!! FLL you should be all over this! Woodsy

The OP started this thread as a way to say something nice about a local restaurant where they had a nice eating experience. In only 3 replies it has already been turned into something sarcastic and negative.
Thank you Woodsy, I didn't realize the Lobster Pound did pizza and since I to am a pizza aficionado, I will be sure to check it out. Those of you who have nothing nice to say, go back to the other thread and flap your gums there. |

Oh good grief...

Because I really hate explaining a joke... You don't park a boat; you dock a boat. Though you might dock one of these: Sam left himself wide open for that one. My swat wasn't at the LP; it was at Sam. In good cheer and with no malice. I like messing with people - they're fun. Usually. For the record: I have no beef (or lobster) with The LP. Haven't made it there yet but considered it - even suggested it for a Forum Fest. |

I was serious about parking the boat because it's kinda hard to dock it when there isn't any water near by.......at least there wasn't the last time I was there. |

Thanks for sharing! I love thin crust pizza and plan on going up to Laconia in a few weeks so I hope the deal is still going on! I'm also excited to see that they are open late and deliver. Very helpful since we will be right down the street
