Abandoned Building on Route 11 next to Patrick's
Does anybody have any information on the building next to Sports & Marine Parafunalia down the street from Patrick's Pub? I believe it used to be a restaurant but is not being used for anything now and is not up for sale?

It was called Cherrystones....
& I heard it was sold but I'm not sure how good the info is. I also heard that part of the roof collapsed.

I don't know about now but there has been a for sale sign on the property since at least 2002.

That sounds like the old Cherrystones restaurant.

My understanding is that there are wetlands issues with trying to remodel and reopen. This is secondhand (at least) information.

Call the owner in Mass. at 617-554-5700...now my ink on my paper is kinda faded so it may be 617-559-5700 but I don't think so. Ask for Steve. I can't remember: his last name is thurber or trumble..Just ask for steve. He owns the company. You will probably have to leave a message but he will get back to you, even if it takes a couple of days. I was in the building last year and it has been closed for about 4 years, Beer still comes out of the tap [ I 'd be careful there !] He bought it and lost interest. The price seemed to be right ! PM me if you need anything else. the place is fully equipped but needs a new broiler and TLC. |
