One thing I have learned is that when it comes to electric and plumbing, hire a professional. We're both pretty handy, but some things should be fixed by people who are trained and licensed. It may be that we have to abandon our fantasy of living in a quaint old home with lots of nooks and charm and have it be completely updated HVAC wise. At least on our budget. I think we will need to shift our thinking a bit, thanks to the responses on this thread. |
