Finally had time to stop in to Tavern 27 this afternoon for a small bite to eat along with some soothing adult beverages. It was late afternoon when we arrived and so quiet that we got to chat with the owners, both friendly with a sense of humor and they both obviously care about the quality of the the food that they serve. The food was "lick-your-plate" good (OK-so I borrowed that phrase from one of the stories that the owner told us, but honest, it was that good!) Later we got to meet the evening waitress and she was just as delightful.

It will not be my last visit! Next time I want to be with a group of friends so I can taste more than just two of their offerings.

Girls weekend is starting tomorrow. A number of us from the forum are planning on enjoying the weekend. Tomorrow evening we will be enjoying Annie and the Orphans at the Belknap Mill. After that we hope to stop in at Tavern 27 for cocktails and food.
