Smile Eagle says goodby at my retirement

Hi all,

long time no post but i'm here now.

I retired the first of April, at last!!!

The day be fore my last day I was looking out the window of my office and the young eagle I have been watching for some time landed in the tree right outside my window. I think he was just saying gooby.

He is a young Bald and has been around for a little while. There is a brook in back of the building where he fishes.

I'm going to miss seeing him but not work.

Now that i'm retired I hope to be able to get on the forums more often. I will be at the lake more this summer.

That's it for now. Hopw you enjoy the eagle pic.

Well TOW you have to understand the Sunset Bob was probably waiting with high anticipation to get out on the water more than anyone else.....he has a new I/O engine to try out in his boat let alone being retired and having the time to get out on the lake when he wants.

TOW congrats on your retirement.

Bob I am awaiting for your first cruise photos!!!

Bob can blame himself and me for retiring and causing the winter to hang on. Now that we both have the time the weather just wont let go of the cold. Figures.

Thanks Pepper,

Has been a long time coming. Dee and I have been looking forward to retirement for some time. Although she retired last march, 2010 that is.

She has been lazing around the house while I have been working my tail off for the last year. Kept writing in some kind of note book but would not tell me what it was. Just notes she kept telling me.

Once I retired she brought out the notebook. Turns out to be the honey do list for me!!

One of the best parts will be that work won't interfere with us making it to the Forum fest!

Gotta go, I just got smacked in the back of the head with some loud verbal expletive like " you Lie."

Retirement, thought it would be rest and relaxation.

Someone said the definition of Retirement is "twice as much husband, half as much pay."

I hope both of you enjoy a long and healthy retirement. I highly recommend it and have been working at it myself since 2003 thanks to an offer too good to refuse from Verizon.
