I agree with you that probably shouldn't powerwash an asphalt-shingled roof. But it has a moss in spots and I'm likely going to replace it in a few years -- just wanted something to hold me over.
I should have mentioned -- preferrably Meredith area. |

Probably, just a plastic lawn rake for the large areas and a flat screwdriver to clean the moss out of the slots if you have three-slot shingles should do it. And, spray the shingles down after moss removal with a 50-50 mix of water-chlorine bleach to kill the moss that is rooted-entrenched into the shingles.
