Aside from the Center Harbor fireworks that we watched from our wharf, what I remember most was the traditional menu of Poached Salmon with hollandaise sauce, fresh green peas from my grandfather's garden in Center Sandwich, and parsley potatoes, too early for his garden to produce, probably from Idaho.
