You get what you pay for, the stuff you get there as far as fittings and the heads are junk!! You should use the correct clamps and you need to use Rain Bird or Hunter products. It can be done by a DIY, but I would not recommend getting your products from Home Depot or Lowes. Also a good rule of thumb to go by is around $100 per head for a contractor to install everything soup to nuts.
