Did you lose a black cat in Meredith?
There is a young (5/6 month) totally black cat with big golden eyes wandering around Stevens Avenue and Oak Street (where fire station is located). Looks like it could be part or even all Burmese. Beautiful cat. I have two at home and can't bring another into the house .... hoping that somebody is missing this little cat. Believe it is a female. If it might be your cat, send me a PM

Nice of you to post...
I hope someone will see your post and be reunited with this beautiful cat. It was nice meeting you and your husband, Donnamatrix, while floating with Green's Basin Girl a week ago Sunday! Hope to see you at the Forum Fest in a few...

If it is still roaming, the "owner" is probably not to be found. Do the little cat a favor and take it to the pound where it will be neutered/spayed and get a good home.

Found the Owner
I found the owner - lives across the street from my office (which is in a residential area)... so that is a relief, except that the owner believes in "free range" cats - that cats shouldn't be kept inside... which is complete opposite of what I believe, but it's her cat, so have to be quiet, and hope this beautiful cat doens't become a cat snack or get hit by a truck on Route 3.
RW: It was great to meet you as well-keep on enjoying the basin! Hard to believe summer is about half over. Probably see y'all on Sunday. |
