Profile Rock

Does anyone know where Profile Rock is on Tuftonboro Neck? It was in the Weirs Times a couple of weeks ago or so. No one I have talked to seems to know where exactly it is and I don't. I think the article said boaters go to look at it.

I know, I looked it up too, but I still don't know where it is. I believe that is the same picture they had in the paper.

Perhaps the handsome fellow is now hidden by trees and vegetation which has grown in the many years since the photo on the post card was taken.
