You'll need to start with a meter,check the main feed ( as Dave R suggested )and check when key is in the start position. Sounds from what I've read like a heat soak issue because after cooling for a short period she cranks again.

Let's look at the battery connections first..ON the Battery. Remove the cable lugs, clean the terminal posts on the battery and connector lugs. Re-connect and try again. Simple is as simple does. AND... it's totally cheap and doesn't require someone who is mechanically inclined.. NB

PS: You can clean the terminal posts and connector lugs with a pocket knife...just scrape the contact areas clean.

Make sure you are getting 12 volts out of the "start" lug of the ignition switch when in the start position. I've heard of this problem a few times recently and it seemed to be heat related also. You can used a meter or just a test light.
