I don't know of anyone who does this anymore. Most furniture today is throw away stuff. Much furniture today is manufactured in China, Indonesia, or Vietnam.
If this is an antique piece then read above. For value sake never refinish. If this is just an ordinary oak or maple or pine then go right ahead. Refinishing is an easy task for the average person. It just takes a lot of time. But your question is seeking someone to do this for you. The cost to do so may be more then item is worth. But if this is a sentimental piece then cost does not enter. I hope someone chimes in and has some suggestions as to where to get refinished. |
