Is it inappropriate to ask what the boat sold for? I can't see it on ebay anymore.

I didn't ask what the boat sold for...just glad my nice neighbor stepped up to keep it from deteriorating any further.

Fargo, thanks for spreading this wonderful news!!! I'm smiling so big that there are tears of happiness leaking out of my eyes.
I sure hope that the Little Mount will be able to stay on the lake and we'll be snapping pictures of her for years to come! I also hope that the new owner will take our wonderful Forum friends up on their offers to help restore this lovely lady. You guys are the best! Please ask your neighbor and any helpers to take lots of pictures during the rehabilitation to post here for us. That way we all can come along for the restoration ride too. What a happy day. ![]() |

Thank you Fargo, I agree with RG this is the best news!!!
I have been thinking about alternatives for a while now, went to take a look at her last spring with Misty Blue, and have been very worried that the LIttle Mount would end up as scrap and I would have a guilty conscience about it forever. Please thank your neighbor for making it happen, and of course I'm ready and willing to help with the restoration. And if they ever need a spot to moor her, I happen to know someone with a 100' long deep water dock on Pine Island ![]() cheers! -PIG |

The ink is just barely dry on the purchase and sale of the Mini and PIG has stepped up with an offer for a dock! I feel we're making progress. Still searching for winter storage.

![]() NHBUOY may have a very good idea of looking for a business that has an empty building that would give them publicity from the human interest angle. One of the local marinas perhaps? Getting pictures of their facility, publicity and name recognition is priceless. |

We checked out the hanger at Laconia Airport...as suspected they only allow airplane related items to be stored there. Maybe we could make the Mini an aircraft carrier.

Fargo,
Did you try and talk to anyone at the Multonborough Airport? The other thing to do is to look around for Vacant warehouse space and find out who owns the building and talk to them... You may find someone that has a vacant warehouse, and for the sake of having the space used my offer a good deal for the winter.... especially if they are a fan of the mini mount...

I contacted Moultonborough airport, since they are privately owned they can store anything. Right now their hangers are full with planes. We have lots of feelers out, Roche Realty is on the hunt for us also.

How about checking with Irwins? They had the boat stored there for a while and have a lot of storage buildings. Nice publicity angle and tie to their history? Jack might be interested.

I'd like to give HK Powersports a shout out, they were good enough to offer outside storage. Still searching for something inside.

Do any forum members sell or have access to temporary fabric structures? Needs to be 13ft high and 60ft long. We'd be happy to purchase it.

Shrink Wrapping is a Killer for any boat you want to keep "healthy". In spite of the "Vents" offered (At extra cost each..) to ventilate the boat.
The problem is the boat doesn't breathe. It's like a greenhouse. It warms up in the daytime when winter sunlight is available. At night the atmosphere inside.. cools down and condensation forms on every surface in the boat. Repeat cycle every day... ALL winter. It's your boat.. ![]() Canvas is a much better alternative... and it breathes. BTW: Canvas can be used over and over every year. Shrink Wrap is ONE Time only. Price it. Just sayin... ![]() |

You can try Trexlers. I believe that they have a large open showroom. I do not know anyone there but you could try?
