Names of people who have died accidentally are often kept secret these days. The name of the person who was New Hampshire's well publicized and only storm related death during Irene, was never released.
I can see protecting loved ones from first finding out about a death on a newscast, but sometimes the secrecy goes overboard.
I'm sorry that you lost your friend codeman671, but I'm glad you were spared from wondering for days.
