Wildlife Walk
Winter Wildlife Hike
Saturday, February 25 9:00am – 11:00am Camp Bell 159 Manning Lake Road Gilmanton, NH Join the Belknap Range Conservation Coalition (BRCC) and UNH Cooperative Extension staff, Emma Carcagno and Andy Fast, for a winter wildlife hike on Hidden Valley conservation land. As we enjoy the 2-hour hike, we will look for wildlife sign and discuss habitat components and function. Because this program is outside and involves a hike, please bring boots, water, and be prepared for winter weather conditions. This program is Free. To register or for more information, call the Belknap County UNH Cooperative Extension office at 603-527-5475. Registration is required. If the program is cancelled due to weather, notification will be posted on the BRCC website: www.belknaprange.org Directions from the intersection of Rte. 107 and Rte. 140 in Gilmanton: Take 140 east toward Gilmanton Iron Works. In 3.9 miles turn left onto Middle Route. After 2.9 miles turn right onto Sargent Road. Sargent Road becomes Guinea Ridge Road at 1.8 miles. Continue on Guinea Ridge 0.6 miles to Manning Lake Road. .....or if coming from Alton Village....follow Rt. 140 to just past the Gilmanton Iron Works Store and take a right on Crystal lake Road. Take a left at the fork. Follow up past Crystal Lake (will be on your right) and Crystal Lake Road becomes Guinea Ridge Road. Eventually you'll see Manning Lake on your right. At the end of Manning Lake take a right on Manning Lake Road. Camp Bell is at the end of the road.

Corrected directions
I have edited the original post to correct an error in the directions from the 107/140 intersection. So if you printed the original post prior to editing, please print the update. Sorry. And thanks to mcdude for adding the directions coming from Alton Village.
