Those were the days when marina owners bend over backward to please you, even if you are not a customer. Mr Callahan, Mr Irwin and Mr Goodhue were instrumental in a lot of public activities around the lake, in particulars, the Winnipesaukee pageant, water ski races, etc.

Vinny and the Cap'n are long gone, but you can still see Jack around the marina even though his sons have pretty much taking over the business. If you want to know any history of the Lake, Jack is the man!
