My wife bought a really nice used one out in the Keene area last year.
She spent about a month looking then we took a motorcycle ride out to make sure it was what she was looking for before making the drive. In the end the seller met us in Concord.
Still cost around $600 but it was $1200 new. Sounds very much like what you lost with the drop down rudder.
It included a roof rack and high end paddle.
