Default Fireworks still on tonight?

Does anyone know if the fireworks are being postponed in Center Harbor and/or Meredith? Still thunder and rain here in Moultonborough.

What would the 4th of July be without the threat of a thunderstorm. We were dissapointed that the fireworks in Center Harbor were cancelled because its a nice short ride by boat from the house but I can't blame them because the sky still looked pretty threatning. We drove by car down to Merideth and watched those from land and they put on a good show. Not sure if something happened towards the end though. We noticed one of the displays exploded pretty low and alot came back down onto the barge and then the finale went off. As everyone headed for their cars, the shot of I'd say close to another 20.
We went to the Weirs Tuesday night by boat to watch the fireworks there. Very dissapointing. Too much time between each rocket I'm sure to drag out the show and the finale was weak at best. Highlight of the night was the HArt slushes we stopped and got

We boated to the Meredith fire works and from the water they were pretty disappointing. They started at 9:20, and we're over by 9:30. I heard later they had some trouble at the end with the barge. But don't know the facts.

It's still a fun time when ever we go by boat.

The ride back was pretty nice once the moon came out, the lake is beautiful in the moon lite.

I agree the Meredith ones were not that great...I was expecting a lot better. I think the lightning around the lake was more of a show than anything.
