I wish I could say the same to the new McMansion owners on our road. It has been a tradition to have a block party on the major hoilidays. We get to know our neighbors and celebrate together. Sure, we are noisy, isn't that what the hoildays are about?

Then a few high rollers, destroy beautiful lake cottages and build Mcmansions. Not only did they destroy classic lake cottages they destroyed the neighborhood! A few calls to the local LEO and its curtains to the traditional holiday parties.
