It's my weekend to have the grandkids. They are looking forward to the Prescott Farm Day at the same time as the FF. Unless I can weasel my way out of grandkiddings responsibilities...................

Hummm standing up Forum Fest for Grandkids.......... I think you know most of us would be upset if you didn't do the GrandFather Job first... Have fun with the grandkids......

Given the wind now and the potential for it to be worse for my return trip on my PWC, I will not be able to attend ForumFest today.

My job today was to bring name tags and collect $15 per person as I gave them out. Can someone please do this in my stead? I can reimburse you for any cost incurred for the tags. Sorry for the short notice, I was really hoping to be there. I sure hope someone can step forward! Thank you.

To Chef Jeff and Annie, there are a few of us from the island that will be unable to attend. We would like to honor our financial commitment to you and will need an address to mail a check. Thank you and sorry for the late notice.

If the wind stays as it is we will leave the island on the boat and grab RG on the way...... However, the forecast is for much worse than it is now.. So Cessnaair and I will probably stay put for the day.

RG hike on over and we can share some peanut butter sandwiches!

I just wanted to say thank you for an amazing event! It was so nice to have met you face to face! The atmosphere and food were great--Many thanks to all who had a hand in organizing it!

Thanks to everyone who attended the ForumFest yesterday. The Lakeside Deli & Grill was a perfect location and they provided an outdoor buffet that was fantastic and took great care of us!

This year's ForumFest was a simple gettogether and we didn't have the raffle, speeches or other structure like in past years. Everyone seemed to enjoy just being able to chat and enjoy some great food. As always it was fun to meet some new people and put a face to their forum aliases.

The windy conditions on the lake prevented several people from getting off the islands and I heard that someone coming up from Alton by boat had to turn back. The attendance was a little smaller than usual but I'd estimate that about 40 or more people came by at some point during the afternoon.

I didn't take many pictures and we didn't get a group shot this year. Others were taking pictures too and I hope you'll post a few here.

Thanks again to everyone who dropped by!

Want to say that Sue and I had a Great Time at the Forum Fest. We were reunited with some old friends and have made some new friends.
Location was excellant, overlooking Meredith Bay, food was Great, even got to take some home.
