The photo that you posted is good old Jobbie Nooner on Gull Island. It’s known as the Mardi Gras of the Midwest and the title is well earned. With thousands of revelers congregating on Gull Island, Lake St. Clair every year, this wild event is a Detroit favorite. Has the biggest rafting flotilla recorded in Guiness Book of World Records at one time. Lake Winni is an angel compared to the parties on that NC lake. Even the NASCAR drivers pitched in!
