Does anyone know of an orchard near the lakes region that grows spencer apples? I used to be able to get them down near the Mass border but now I'm a permanent resident up here and I haven't seen any. I realize there won't be anything left on the trees by now, but maybe next year?

I love Spencer's too. Hard to find. Use to get them in Hollis. Would love to find some up here!

Posted today on Cardigan Mountain Orchard's FB page:

What a beautiful fall day today..... We have PYO Cortland,Empire + Golden delicious apples as well as hot mulled cider, coffee and cider donuts, we always do our best to have enough apple pies available, but if you know you want one its always a safer bet to call and reserve one. Enjoy this perfect fall day everyone!
