Default RE: Friday Storms

I'm in Southeastern NH (Exeter area) and had high winds about the same time as FLBoater -- wind must be all over the state tonight! It's still windy but no rain yet, I'm very glad we're not out on Bear (the name of our boat) this evening! (I think! lol)

Unhappy Lots Of Outages In The Lakes Region

The lady at the Electric Co-op told me many islands are having power trouble tonight and it isn't likely they will be back online until tomorrow. Their recording states that much of Moultonboro, Center Harbor, Sandwich, Tuftonboro, Melvin Village and Thornton are without electricity.

Default Power out

The power was out on Moultonboro Neck until about 9:45. We figured out how to cook pizza by using the gas grill as an oven. Winds were strong, but nothing like reported down in Alton. The cable internet went up and down a bit after the power came back, and there was an additional power glitch but all seems to be stable now.
