I'm Heading to the Romney Rally tonight at the Verizon in Manchester with a bunch of friends. I think it's awesome that he will be in Manchester the night before the election!!
He is an outstanding example of what a U.S. President should be.
I pray that he wins.

I had heard he will be at his home in Belmont Mass.

I am excited about seeing him tonight, hopeful and optimistic he will be elected President tomorrow, and if elected, I will be even more hopeful about the future for our United States, the future for my family, and especially for my 3 son's

Pretty sure Romney sold his Belmont home, he's having an election night rally at the Boston Convention and Exhibition center.

Why wouldn't they just clear a landing spot at his house in Wolfeboro?

Sold the house - but bought a condo, still in Belmont. You're right they will be at the convention center tomorrow night.

I read an interesting article on that subject today. Even if one doesn't agree, the article makes some interesting points.

(I, too, have three sons.)

As my good friend Joe Biden would say: "With all due respect, that is a bunch of Malarkey."

Joe! Biden makes ANOTHER gaffe as he says 'there's never been a day in the last four years I've been proud to be his VP'

Finally I agree with him on something.

Romney has made a few gaffes along the way, I like this one:

Obama made the same identical gaffe with Joe Biden in 2008. So gaffes are equal opportunity sound bites.

Default Go Mitt!

I would HAPPILY give up my boating privileges for the next 4 years in order to see Mitt elected. If you-know-who gets re-elected, I won't be able to afford the boat (and probably a lot of other things) anyway.

As for where Mr. Romney will be watching the returns -- we are down here in Florida, and I did hear on one of the political shows over this past weekend that he will be at their home in Wolfeboro! The Romneys no longer own a home in Belmont. Does anyone know if there are extra news crews setting up in Wolfeboro? That would surely be an indication of where he will be.

Hope not I have to drive by there to get to the job.
Beside these politicians don't want to be in a small out of the way town like Wolfeboro.
There just is not enough people around to pat them on the back win, loose or draw.

It appears now he will be in Boston for the returns. At least he is "home".

He's voting in Belmont this morning, then flying off to campaign in two other states (I believe one is PA), then returning to watch the returns at the convention center in Boston. I can see the convention center from my office, there is a ring of satellite trucks surrounding it - since at least yesterday. And they've announced that they're closing down a number of streets this afternoon and there will be no parking in that area.

I guess the new question is; "what happens to the lake now that Romney lost"
Is it business as usual?
I am sure gas prices will still be in the $4 dollar range come next summer.

Rising income tax rates and the possible exemption of the second home mortgage interest deduction could also have a chilling impact on the vacation home marketplace in the lakes region. Someone will need to pay for all of the federal spending at some point.

Wolfeboro has "dodged that bullet". (shrug). However, in today's terror-environment, Romney's Secret Service protection should continue for four years—it's not getting easier to find candidates for President.

It's been twenty years since repeal, but our newest voters have few memories of what the "Luxury Tax" did to the boating industry.

Would this revision express your statement more clearly?

Rising income tax rates and the possible repeal of the second home mortgage interest deduction could also have a chilling impact on the vacation home marketplace in the lakes region.

For Wolfeboro, that would be catastrophic.

Moultonborough would have it even worse!

.....mortgage......shmoregage......like who cares about the deducting your mortgage interest what with today's very very low interest rates......long gone is the 15-year, 9% annual interest, 1/3 total down, seller financing type of a deal from 20-years ago...

....besides, when you have crappy credit, then no bank will loan you any money, anyway....

....about the only type mortgage I'll ever qualify....is one of those reverse mortgage scams......as seen on TV.....promoted by Fred Thompson, attorney, actor, U S Senator from Tennessee 1993-2004, & Republican 2008 presidential candidate ...... plus one has to be 62 years old for that so I'm about a year away(?)
