Hey, I'm looking for a round trip ride for approximately 10 people from Harilla's to Cow Island 12/31 - new years to wednesday 1/2 . It would be nice to spend the new year on the island however this year my boat is down. Please respond if interested with a price for the service, we will pay cash for the ride.

My boat, a 16' Alumacraft, vee hull fishing boat w/ a 40-hp outboard, has seats for two plus the driver, plus maybe semi-seating on top of the live-well for another two or three people and it is still in the water and running super-strong. Am located on Meredith Neck at FL-3, flasher buoy-3, and am very unfamiliar with the Cow Island area and vicinity.
As usual, am totally bored out of my mind, and could definately use the extra cash to go pay my God-awful, Meredith property tax bill; so's what type of money number do you have in mind for this adventure in the 38-degree big lake? Pabst Blue Ribbon or Narragansett or both is, (are?) my preferred adult beverage! ![]()

.... for one thing, any monkey business on my part regarding the return trip side of any agreement here would probably get reported into this thread and come back to haunt me.....what do you think?
....yes.....Pabst has been going for $3.97/six 16oz cans cold at the Plymouth Wal-mart, lately.....my type of a price!

He is very reliable, a safe driver and crazy enough to go out on the lake in January, which is when he drove his boat from Meredith to W. Alton to Rattlesnake Island.
Snake Eyes worked that winter because of FLL's willingness to give me a ride.... And wait in the cold while I fixed the cam. IG

Drummuse -
Try George Randall (aka Randall Maintenance) at (603) 253-7042. He may still have a boat in the water and is very familiar with the Harilla/Cow run. George is the former caretaker of the Idlewild Association. |

Have you looked at the weather? According to the almost never accurate long range forecast the temps are only going to be in the 20's for highs.
That could make even a short ride very uncomfortable then if there is any wind at all down right dangerous. Just saying, be safe Actually after looking at the lows you may not be able to get there by boat due to the ice forming. Good luck either way
