Looking out from Scenic Dr and Belknap Pt this afternoon does not give me the impression of impending ice-in.
It would probably take a dose of "ice-nine" but then I would not recommend that.

16 degrees outside here at the Weirs and no wind at all. Good weather for lake icing!

I know its fragile and the wind and the warmth next week will be an issue, but it's nice to see the ice cover in the broads.
