Default Horse Play

My wife's Appy Arab cross Alex on the left playing with his paddock buddy Bones today in the snow. They had been racing around in the fresh snow. Photo taken by the nice lady where Alex is boarded.

I had planned on coming up this weekend to see the Meredith Fishing Derby, etc., but......all roads are closed here and we have a couple of feet of new snow. That's a bird on the table.

Nice picture, is the horse OK? If you look at one of the hoofs it looks like it is bleeding.
Our kids had a blast playing with my wife while I was out all day plowing.
The new puppy had an especially great time with her big brother.

Good eyes BR seeing the red but no blood. The horse Bones on the right (haflinger pony) has a strip of red "vet rap" tied around a prior bruise. Bones belongs to the owner of the farm and has had a slight limp for a week.
Alex and Bones are best buddies and had a great time blowing off energy in the snow.
