I just received word that Jack Miller, builder of the Little Mount passed away last month at the age of 90. He was a very accomplished man. Sorry I never had the opportunity to meet him. His memory will live on with the restoration of the Little Mount!

Here's some video of Jack during the Little Mount's transfer of ownership. Jack's comments begin around 2:00.

We had the privilege of going for a ride on the Mini Mount a few years before he sold it. We left the Wolfeboro berth and cruised down to Springfield point and back. He gave us a running commentary about that end of Wolfeboro as well as a history and commentary on the MiniMount and its construction. Great day and a great experience.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Miller.

I did have the pleasure of meeting Jack after Fargo and I purchased the boat from the Mt Washington Cruise line. Stopped by unannounced on a sunny fall day and was invited in before I even had a chance to explain my visit, a delightfull family ! Thankfully Jack told where the keys (many) were hidden. As we work on the restoration there is constant awe at the talent, engineering, work, and dedication that went into her ! Thank you and God bless !
