Noted Wolfeboro veterinarian Dr. Lawrence S. Toms, whose animal hospital was for years on Keywaydin Road in Wolfeboro, died in his sleep the night of April 22nd at the Mountain View Nursing Home in Ossipee.
![]() Dr. Toms also has served on the Wolfeboro Board of Selectmen in past years. He was predeceased by his wife Doris Jeanne Toms on May 18th 2002. There will be a memorial service for Dr. Lawrence S. Toms on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 5-7 @ Lord's funeral home in Wolfeboro on Route 28 next to Parson's furniture. All are welcome. ![]() |

It was Dr. Toms' initiative as a Wolfeboro Selectman to clean up and salvage the waterfront area adjacent to the Wolfeboro Railroad Station and turn it into a beautiful looking area of useful parking.
He was a good veterinarian. My animals actually looked forward to seeing him. R. I. P. Dr. Toms. |
