Consignment or private sale, or ?? to sell a boat?

I just thought I would give a final report here.

On Friday (a week ago) I posted a Craig's list ad.
Saturday I had two different parties come and view the boat.
On Sunday I was in negotiations for a final price.
By Wednesday the boat was delivered and paid for.

It was pretty painless for me, I hope the new owner has a much good luck as I did with her.

Now, if I could only say the same thing for my dealings with a local salesman/brokerage on the replacement boat. Grrrr! LOL
