I believe that the pine pollen is the last major wave to arrive. It usually starts around now and lasts until the end of June give or take.

I always mark the pine pollen as a Father's Day issue. But as others have noted, the rains this year have helped knock the pollen down more than past years. Hopefully the rain this weekend will help. At least let's hope it's good for something. I'm getting tired of the cold, raw, air (last weekend notwithstanding)

I am getting tired of it, too. MM. I want mid 70s at least and sunny. Is that too unreasonable??

I think I spoke too soon. I was outside a minute ago and noticed this stuff coming down. Pine Pollen. Here is a picture of my truck. There wasn't anything on it last night when I got home. There isn't much but it is raining down pollen right now with the breeze we have today.

Supposed to rain tomorrow and Saturday. I feel bad for Bike week 'cause it does not have a very favorable forecast so far......

I'm almost surprised folks still come. The weather during Bike Week has been lousy for about 5 years in a row now.

Last year bike week was great weather, I remember rainy years prior, but last June was a great weather month...in fact, the whole summer was great.

That's what I recall too. The previous few years were pretty tough, weather wise. Let's hope this storm passes quickly and we have a good week.

The shoreline is loaded with pollen this morning. looks like it all got washed in the lake from the rains. Hopefully the rain curbed the pollen count.
