WV waffle-cat
New this winter, the www.waterville.com will be remodeling an old sno-groomer cat into a waffle stand located at the base of the primary mountain chairlift. With prices starting at $4.50/serving which includes genuine, real NH maple syrup & the genuine, real 9% NH meals tax, it will target the weekend and holiday-big Boston money-BMW crowd, and probably be closed to the mid-week, el cheapo, local-loser Ford Escort crowd. After all, one can find an eight-pak of toaster waffles at the Plymouth Wal-Mart for about 1.25/box ..... converting an old sno-groomer into a waffle stand or kiosk style building that serves up hot waffles ....... like wow .... what a concept!
The new, old, sno-groomer turned-into-waffle-kiosk will be replacing an ugly log cabin style, waffle shed.

....found this via googling "waffle shack ski area new hampshire" .... www.wafflecabin.com ...which says it may be a franchise business with locations at ski areas in NJ, NY, PA, VT, NH, and MA, and biggest in VT. Maybe WV is opening their own Waffle Cat and eliminating the Waffle Cabin franchise or something .... I don't know?

...... waffles by Thiokol?
....it is a dark orange Thiokol tracked snow groomer from Logan Utah or something, has a very large enclosed cabin on the back with about eight large windows....and it looks like it is in perfect mechanical condition with a plow on the front....and probably a very torquey diesel under the hood.....it looks like one could turn the key and go hit the slopes...except that it is going waffles ...
...anyway....it is now under construction....a staircase and deck is getting built for walk-up service....and it occupies what is probably the #1 primo, most central spot of land at the ski area.....directly between the main lodge and the main lift....so when can I get some waffles???

WV waffles
Hey FLL, you work for WV? You must get a discount as in the past the waffles were EXPENSIVE. So I never bought one so I have no idea how good it is. My gf makes excellent whole grain waffles.
Anyone on the forum belongs to the 'Silver Streaks' team?

Waffle cabin heads south
Looks like the old cabin may have made its way down to Gunstock right in front of the Panorama quad.

... 10-degree sno-making perfection right now!
Can see the magic sno-wands .......goodbye sno-guns......hello sno-wands ...... puffing out the white stuff, two miles away, all up and down the mountain on upper and lower Tippiecanoe so WV should be top to bottom in a day or so... and oh yeah....they better get on that structural lumber construction staircase and service deck ....so's the waffle-cat can get going with selling hot waffles....plus the big empty cabin on the back of the Thiokol needs to be transformed into a waffle kitchen or something....maybe just a toaster and some Wal-mart waffles would be the way-to-go here ..... at least for the mid-week, local-loser, Ford Escort crowd!
U know what they say .... a photo is worth a thousand words!

Waterville already had a waffle hut in front of the main lodge. This new one is just bigger, to be sure. I bet the waffles will be the same size, however.

....free waffles first 25-coupon holders?
Grand Opening-Saturday, December 21 at 11 o'clock, for the new Waterville Valley Waffle-Cat
Opening at 11-am, and the first 25-people who show up and get a coupon at that time supposedly, or something like this, will be the happy recipients of free WV waffles.......normally a gormet value of an unknown price, at this time....but it probably will not be any bargain.....but for .....free.....that's my type of a WV gormet waffle price!
