From a few years back..
The event is amazing and if you decide to come check it out here is what you can see in person. These folks are a little crazy.. and the dogs are something you just don't want to miss!
Spectacular action.... (these images from the 2011 event) Bring the kids and a camera! (and a few bucks to donate to the folks that put this event on!) The best viewing is along North Main Street in an area they call the "Prison Loop" right near Tavern 27

No, it's further up North Main Street going towards Meridith. If you know where the O'Shea industrial Park or the Prison is, that's the the place to go to see the races.

Prison Loop
Will you be able to snowmobile on Prison Loop that day, or get close enough by snowmobile to watch the race?

Snowmobile Trails
During the event are the snowmobile trails open? I live across the lake and would use the Prison Loop to get to the Sled Dog Race.

One of many pictures I got at the event on Saturday.. in the snow.
Great fun, big crowds.. one day left to see it in person.(Sunday) This is from the "Open Class" event yesterday afternoon. (15 mile race ) Today should be perfect viewing. If you look at the trail map in the post above, this was taken at "Lane Road" just off 106 (north Main St.) right by Tavern 27.
